Lil Kim or Nicki Minaj: Who's better

Attorneymom, a conservative blogger in Atlanta metro, writes: "If you are up on the latest Hip Hop News, then you have heard of the continued beef between Nicki Minaj and the Queen of Rap, Lil Kim. Lil Kim feels that newcomer female MC Nicki Minaj is not showing her the proper respect that the Queen B clearly deserves since newcomer has clearly copied her image."

She continues her commentary: "Hands down, I am Team Queen B all day. 1996 was a pivotal year for me both personally and professionally. I was admitted to practice law, opened my law firm and got engaged to my current husband and babies’ daddy. 1996 was also when Notorious Big’s protégé took over the rap game with her HARDCORE album debut. From the first track to the last, Lil Kim proved that she would be (and still is) the Queen of Rap. Her hardcore lyrics redefined the sexual revolution for female MC(s). She proved that female MC(s) can both lyrically deliver raps 'hard' like a dude and still maintain their femininity. She taught us about rocking Prada while sipping Cristal and driving the E-Class with goggles. Tell ‘em how you roll: 'Cruise Control.'"

More: "Fast forward to 2010 and the female MC buzz is starting again. But this time, the buzz is being generated by a bipolar- swag jacking female Ninja Turtle. That’s right, I am talking about Rapper Nicki Minaj. Why do I have an attitude with Miss Minaj? Because I do not like people with bad attitudes and overly inflated egos. It is clear that Nicki is a cross between Lil Kim and Missy Misdemeanor Elliot and has JUST recently released one album. Booker Rising response: I'm not a fan of either one. Missy Elliott puts both chicks to shame. If we wanna go old-school, so do Queen Latifah and MC Lyte in their prime. However, at least Lil' Kim has rapping skills. Plus, I gotta admit that her song "The Jump Off" was a jam.

Hey this is your girl chani coming live from the 305 in the studieo with my girl ashley b. Today we are going to be talking about the beef between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim. So let's get the recored straight for everyone that wants to know.

Q: So ashley How do you feel about the nicki minaj and lil kim beef ?
A: Well to be real i think it's so stupid because they acting like little third graders. Why can't they both share the lime light ?

Q: Why do you think Lil kim should stop hating on Nicki Minaj ?
A: Because she's older an she needs to act her age.

A: Yes because kim had her time now she should let nicki have her's.

A: Well i don't think shes trying to be like her, I just think she likes her swagg.

mixtape? No because if she didn't sell them back in the day when she was hot, why would a million
people buy a mixtape from a dryed up rapper.

A: No because that's her opinion.

Trina Embarrassed Over Nicki Minaj & Lil Kim Beef, "This Makes Us All Look Bad"

Southern rapper Trina has weighed in Lil Kim's beef with Nicki Minaj and explained the impact it is having on the female rap game.

"That's crazy. I really don't get it. I don't see where all this is coming from," Miami's Trina told MTV News via e-mail this week about Kim's comments. "[We're] all ladies. Can't we just make music and get our paper and keep it moving?! We all respect Kim. She opened the doors for us females. It's all good -- everybody's eating, what's the issue?" Trina also pointed to the dearth of high-profile women in hip-hop as a reason for Kim to fall back with the criticism. "This makes us all look bad. There's barely any female artists as is -- we don't need this!""For the last year, she's been subliminally taking shots at me, subliminally taking shots at the other girls in the industry and I mean come on, we read that interview where she said 'Oh, being that the other rap chicks in the game ain't got sh*t to do right now, when I'm by the pool, they can feed me grapes,' I remember that sh*t," Kim said in an interview. "I keep my ears to the street at all times. Just because I do my Hollywood thing and my Malibu Barbie thing don't mean my ears ain't to the streets at all times. The last thing she did that was very subliminal, 'Oh, did I kill the Queen?' and Puffy is sitting right next to her vibing with that bullsh*t. Come on, we ain't stupid. Let's go all the way back, when she started doing all my songs over. There were certain interviews she was doing and my fans were getting upset, because she was busting shots at me, actually she was throwing pebbles -- it's obvious I'm who she wants to be, it's obvious that she likes me and wants to be like me but she's not paying the homage. It's obvious that she likes my music and that she's trying to mimic what I'm doing, she's subliminally busting shots." How to be like Kim Kardashian

The only woman that can share the spotlight with Paris Hilton and more than hold her own is socialite turned reality TV star, Kim Kardashian. With her exotic good looks and carefree attitude, Kim is a woman that every man wants to be with and lots of women want to be like. So if Kim's sexy style is your goal, here's some hot tips on how to achieve her look.

Raven brown hair (real or fake)
Lancome Sensation Effect Eyeshadow in Designer Metallic
Black eyeliner (lots!)
Eyelash curler
Black mascara
Revlon Naturally Nude Lipstick
Big breasts (real or fake)
Self tanner

Kim's flowing hair
One of Kim's most outstanding features is her long, flowing, gorgeous raven head of hair. In order to get Kim's hairstyle, you'll first need to dye your hair the correct shade of brownish/black. A good shade to try is Garnier Black Licorice. Next, in order to get Kim's long, wavy, flowing locks there are several things you can do. You can get hair extensions if your hair isn't as long as Kim's. Try HairDo by Jessica Simpson. They're easy to use and relatively inexpensive. Or, set your hair with rollers or use a curling iron sparingly on the ends to achieve that wavy, flowing look.

Kim's eyes
Kim's eyes are her most striking facial feature and in order to get her smoky look down pat, some practice is required. First you need to apply Lancome's Sensation Effect Eyeshadow in Designer Metallic across the full length of your upper and lower eyelids. Then take a clean eyeshadow brush and gently smudge the colors (this creates the smoky effect). Add another layer of eyeshadow on your lower lid. Next, line your eyes (the inner rim as well) and lightly smudge the eyeliner. Then fill in your eyebrows to make them darker. (Dark eyebrows add to the dramatic eye effect.) Next, curl your eye lashes and add 2 layers of mascara. Finally, since Kim's eyes are so dramatic the lips need to be downplayed so just like Kim, complement your smoky eyes by using Revlon Naturally Nude Lipstick. Another of Kim's outstanding assets are her breasts. There are rumors going around whether Kim's are real or fake but in any case in order to achieve Kim's rather ample endowments you can either go the breast implant route or get a great padded bra. Victoria's Secret sells some great ones that not only do the job but look sexy as well.

Kim would not be Kim without her great tan. And thanks to her Armenian heritage, Kim's tan is year-round natural. If you however, weren't born so lucky, you can achieve the yearly tan look with some good old fashioned self tanner. The best (and the brand that Kim would probably use if she had to) is Clarins Self Tanning Hydrating Gel. It is a bit pricey but hey, if you want to be tan like Kimmy, you have to go the extra mile.
